This policy covers homecaretaxadvisory.com. Home Care Tax Advisory is a practice of MCo Advisors, the trade name of Meester & Company, Inc. ("we," "us"). We keep it simple: we collect very little, we use it to run this site and respond to you, and we do not sell it.

What this policy covers

This policy covers visits to this website. If you become a client, the information you share for tax work is covered by your engagement agreement and by the confidentiality rules that apply to tax return preparers. It is not covered by this policy.

Information you choose to give us

This site has no forms. If you email or call us, we receive what you send, such as your name, email address, phone number and your message.

When you book a discovery call, you leave this site and book through Zoom's scheduler. Zoom collects the details you enter there, such as your name, email and the time you choose, and shares them with us so we can hold the call. Zoom's own privacy policy applies to that page.

Information collected automatically

Hosting. Our hosting provider, Netlify, keeps standard server logs, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of each request. These logs are used to keep the site running and secure.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how people use this site, such as how many people visit, which pages they view, which site or link sent them here and their general location (city or region, not street address). Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. We have turned off Google's advertising features, and we do not use this information to show you ads.

How we use information

• To respond to you and schedule and hold calls you request.
• To understand which pages and channels are working, so we can improve the site.
• To keep the site secure and working.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We use a few service providers to run this site and our communications, and they handle information on our behalf: Netlify (hosting), Google (analytics), Zoom (scheduling) and Microsoft (email). We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Cookies and your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works without them. You can also opt out of Google Analytics on every site with Google's opt-out browser add-on.

Your requests

If you would like to know what personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, email team@homecaretaxadvisory.com or call 530.895.3111. We will not treat you differently for asking.

How long we keep it

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires.

Children

This site is meant for business owners and is not directed to children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
